Great vibes at yesterday's inaugural Tufa Talk
Yesterday we hosted the first episode of our Tufa Talks series, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The room was full, the atmosphere intimate, and the conversations didn’t stop when the talk ended.
A big thank you to our speaker, Johannes von Oswald, for sharing his work and insights on mesa-optimization with us. The talk sparked a lot of interesting discussions and created exactly the kind of exchange we’re hoping to build with this series.
And of course, thanks to everyone who stopped by! It’s always amazing to see so many people from across the community show up, ask thoughtful questions, and connect with each other. That’s really what Tufa Talks is all about: bringing people together and helping foster the AI research community here in Zurich.
We’re excited to keep this going and are already planning episode 2 of Tufa Talks.
Quick note: we saw way more interest than we could accommodate this time. We had close to 200 registrations but space for only about 50 people. We’re incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm (seriously, thank you!), and we hope to see more of you at future talks.
Stay tuned for the next one!
