We’re excited to announce the third session of Tufa Talks: on June 29, Valentina Pyatkin from the Allen Institute for AI will join us at Tufa Labs.

Valentina is a postdoctoral scientist at the Allen Institute for AI and the University of Washington, and an affiliate of the ETH AI Center. Her work sits at the intersection of open science and language model development, with a focus on post-training pipelines, verifiable instruction following, and rigorous human-centered evaluation. She has contributed to projects including Tulu, Open-Instruct, and OLMo.

Doors open at 17:45 and close promptly at 18:00. The evening will feature the talk, followed by an open Q&A, with pizza, drinks, and networking afterwards.
